Aztech Forgotten Gods in talks for movie Adaptation

Hi gamers!

You thought we were done with announcements this month?

Think again!

Today, we are very excited to announce our partnership with Impossible Dream Entertainment, a California-based entertainment production company that focuses on unique and diverse narratives.

This is a collaboration that has been on the works since 2019!
You can check the exclusive announcement via Deadline right here!

On Impossible Dream’s quest to finding authentic, original Mexican & Latin American content, co-founders Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick scoured the land in search of heroic, dramatic, action packed stories. As fortune would have it, Mexico based Carlos Yates, knowledgeable in the local entertainment scene in Chihuahua, Mexico, introduced us to the Impossible Dream team. We started discussing our newest endeavor, Aztech, and found common ground to dream about an ambitious new franchise.

Aztech Forgotten Gods

Once the concept for Aztech Forgotten Gods had been fully developed, both Impossible Dream Ent. and the entire team at Lienzo, felt that the universe in Aztech Forgotten Gods could be a perfect fit for the big screen. And so, plans for a live-action feature film project began.

This feature film would see Impossible Dream Entertainment’s Yvette Yates Redick and Shaun Redick as Producers (upcoming Day Shift, BlacKkKlansman, Get Out), and Lienzo (Hunter’s Legacy, Mulaka, Aztech Forgotten Gods) as Executive Producers. The film will be an adaptation of Aztech Forgotten Gods’ story and it will use the same setting, ambiance and inspirations. The hope is to eventually use the mythology and the universe of the game for spinoff series and films.

“With Aztech it’s fun to envision what World Building can be achieved through the many multi-dimensional characters, the mythology and vast cultural storylines. “

Shaun Redick, Impossible Dream Ent.

“As a Latina producer and with roots in Chihuahua, Mexico, I am proud to be collaborating with Lienzo, and bringing to light the legends and rich history of Mexico with Aztech.”

This process will take time, however, we invite you to keep an eye on our official social media accounts (TwitterInstagramFacebook and Discord), as well as Impossible Dream’s, for all the latest news on this feature film.

Likewise, for all the latest on the game development updates for Aztech Forgotten Gods, we will continue to share with you more in the coming weeks! In the meantime, don’t forget to check our official website and to Wishlist the game on Steam!

On behalf of everyone at Lienzo,
