A “Making Mulaka” book is coming in Fall 2018!

Hello, gamers!

A few months ago, we were approached by the wonderful people of Select Start Press who, after finding out about Mulaka, wanted to make use of their storytelling prowess and share the tale of how the game got made. Now, the book is a reality and is coming out this fall!

“Making Mulaka” is a Mexican tale of video games and the mighty Tarahumara and is written by Christian Cardenas. More info on the book is available on the Select Start Press blog. It’ll be available internationally in English this fall for $14.95 USD through their website or Amazon, with an e-book version available for $10 USD. We’ll share more details and links for purchase as soon as we get them!

We haven’t read the book ourselves yet, so we’re incredibly excited (and nervous) about the crazy stories and insights that will be shared there. The folks from Select Start Press spent a few days with us at the office interviewing us, studying our interactions, and just plain hanging out with us! Should be a fun read, for sure.
